In 2025, the competition underwent systematic upgrades, with its reach further expanded, attracting 15,691 submissions from 69 countries and regions worldwide. This demonstrates its exceptional international influence and industry appeal. The competition is structured into two main categories: "Product Design" and "Design for Industry," and innovatively introduced a special competition for "AI & Robotics." The final awards included 12 BDA Grand Awards, 10 Design for Industry Awards, 10 AI & Robotics Design Awards, and 300 BDA Design Awards. These works, spanning technology, humanities, and industry, collectively paint an innovative vision of design-driven global development.
