Xin Xiangyang is the Dean of Design Thinking and Social Technology System Design Institute, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, famous Chinese Alumni of Carnegie Mellon University and Distinguished Professor at Tongji University. He is also an invited personal executive director of China Industrial Design Association, visiting professor of West China Hospital, consultant of Changhong Innovation Center and independent consultant of Huawei. He served as a jury member on competitions including IXDA, G-Mark, Red Star and many others. Zheng Gangqiang has led and participated in 20 vertical research projects and has completed over 300 design and implementation projects. He has published 11 books and 87 papers, received 59 awards, and holds 21 national patents. He established a think tank of academicians that brings together over 80 academicians and connects hundreds of academicians and Nobel laureates to empower regional innovation. By leveraging design to promote the integration of industry and education and the innovation and upgrading of industrial chains, he has created a knowledge system for the industrialization of China's independent strategic scientific design, which is applied in various sectors, including artificial intelligence, new energy, marine engineering, mineral construction, and life health.
Wang Yunhui is the Deputy Director and a researcher at the Fifth Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. She also serves as the Deputy Head of the Equipment Quality Management Technical Group and a member of the Reliability Systems Engineering Technical Group under the Equipment Development Department. Additionally, she is the rotating chairman of the Innovation and Development Committee of the China Electronics Standardization Association, a council member of the China Electronics Society (Chairman of the Reliability Branch), a member of the Expert Committee for the “Digital Government” Reform and Construction in Guangdong Province, a council member of the Guangdong Cybersecurity Industry Alliance, and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Digital Industrial Software Alliance. She has long been engaged in research on industrial software, innovation and development, quality reliability, and safety. She has participated in the formulation of quality plans for several major national projects and has led over 20 national and provincial-level projects. She has overseen the construction of significant projects and capacity-building initiatives, including the National Innovation and Development Comprehensive Support Platform, the Innovation and Development Quality Testing Platform, industrial internet, smart manufacturing security, industrial data security special projects, and information security protection platforms. She has also promoted the implementation of key initiatives such as equipment cybersecurity testing, smart device cybersecurity assessments, Guangdong Province's Digital Government Security Index, safety regulation, and resource pool construction.
Liu Guanzhong is one of the first batch of senior professors of liberal arts and a PhD advisor at Tsinghua University. He receives a special government allowance from the State Council and serves as Honorary Vice President of the China Industrial Design Association and Director of its Expert Working Committee, as well as Honorary Chairman of Dragon Design Foundation Award (DDF) Committee. He has twice won the Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Higher Education awarded by the Ministry of Education and has led a National Excellent Teaching Team and a National Quality Course. Liu was awarded the “Outstanding Contribution” Medal for Returned Overseas Students by the Ministry of Personnel and the State Education Commission. He has received numerous honors, including the National Outstanding Teacher Award in Higher Education, the Gold Medal for “Lifetime Achievement in Chinese Design” from the DDF Award, the “Top Ten Education Award” and “Promotion Award” in Chinese Industrial Design, the Outstanding Contribution Award in the Eighth Annual China Creative Industries, the 2016 World Green Design Contribution Award, “Outstanding Contributor to China’s Prosperity” in 2016, and “Public Welfare Figure of the Year” in 2017. In December 2018, he received the “Forty Designers of Forty Years of Reform and Opening-Up” Special Award from the DDF Award. In December 2019, he was awarded the Gold Medal in the 15th DDF Award—one of the “70 Designers of China” in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.
Professor Ken Nah graduated from Hanyang University in South Korea in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. In 1985, he earned a Master’s degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), deepening his interest in human factors and ergonomics. In 1996, he received a PhD in Engineering Design from Tufts University in Boston. Ken Nah is also a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) in the United States, making him the first South Korean to achieve this title. He is currently a Professor of Design at the International Design School for Advanced Studies (IDAS) at Hongik University in Seoul and the Director of the Human Experience and Emotion Research (HE.ER) Lab. Since 2002, he has served as the Director of the International Design Trend Center (IDTC). Ken Nah was the Executive Director of "Seoul World Design Capital 2010." In addition to his role as a professor, he also serves as Senior Vice President of the Korean Federation of Design Associations (KFDA) and the Korea Association of Industrial Designers (KAID). Since 2000, Ken Nah has been a design policy advisor to multiple ministries within the South Korean government.
Cao Xue is Professor at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, PhD advisor, and Deputy Chair of the Academic Committee. He led the design team for “Bing Dwen Dwen”, the mascot of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, and served as its chief designer. He also designed Guangzhou's first city image logo, the Guangzhou Public Security logo, the "Hello · China Bamboo" logo for sustainable development, and the Asia Food Festival logo, all of which have been widely acclaimed. He has won numerous awards, including the Red Dot, iF, IDEA, and Pentawards. In 2022, he was named "Artist of the Year" by New Weekly. Dedicated to reform and innovation in design education, he has been awarded titles such as Outstanding Teacher of Southern Guangdong and China’s Top Ten Designers. The international design exhibition series "Outside the Tower", which he curated, has successfully held five editions in cities like London, Milan, Paris, Athens, and Madrid, using design as a medium to tell China’s story and earning him high regard in both the industry and academia.
Li Jie has won the Dragon Design Foundation Award - Top 10 Outstanding Young Designers in China's Design Industry; China Design Industry Top 100 - China's Top 10 Design Promotion Figures; one of the 70 nominees for the User Experience of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China; an expert of the International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; and a judge for the National Industrial Design Center evaluation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. He has planned and designed themed exhibitions and activities to support the sustainable development of street vendor economy and the 70 most influential industrial design products that have changed the lives of Chinese people in 70 years. Following the completion of his master's degree in journalism from the Communication University of China, she dedicated 20 years to working at CCTV. She founded the renowned national program "Art Life" and held positions as director for large-scale evening parties, showcasing her expertise in channel operation and management. Hou Yuda is the Dean of Shenzhen Technology University School of Design and Innovation, and the Dean of the Design Research Institute of Shenzhen Technology University. He obtained dual bachelor's degrees in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Sheffield in the UK in 2007. He obtained a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto in 2011. He has worked for well-known landscape design companies in the UK and Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) and the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA). He has been researching public space design, low-carbon development, sponge city, and smart city for many years. He has participated in the design of public spaces and smart road projects in the UK and Canada. He has written guidelines for "Humanized Street Planning and Design" and "Low-Impact Development: Rainwater Management and Planning Guidelines". He has won numerous international and national awards, including the ASLA Merit Award, the Toronto Horticultural Society Award, and the Academic Excellence Award from the University of Toronto.
Albert Chen is a master of Design Management from Pratt Institute in New York, a PhD Candidate in Creative Industry Management from Shih Hsin University in Taipei, and a member of the DMI Association in the United States. He was the former director of a national-level industrial design center, a product design expert for Peacock Talent in Shenzhen, and a senior talent evaluator for DML in Service Design at Dragon Design Foundation. With many years of experience in industrial design, design management, and innovation management, he has served as a judge for various domestic and international design awards, including the iF Design Award and Golden Pin Design Award, and has won numerous international design awards, including the iF Gold Award, the Red Dot: Best of the Best, and the IDEA Silver and Bronze awards. Lorraine Justice is a Professor of Industrial Design and the former Dean of the College of Art and Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She serves on six editorial boards for design journals around the world and, as a judge for design competitions around the world.Justice served as the director and Dean of the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2004 to 2011. He stressed that ethics must be the dominant force in the age of AI, with design playing a bigger role as the link between man and machine than many companies. In addition, Karel is actively involved in discussing and promoting the importance of circular economy and circular design, which he believes plays a key role in achieving a sustainable transformation.
In 2008, he graduated from the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo with a specialization in Social Foundations. In the same year, he joined GK Design Group, focusing on research topics related to spatial environmental signage systems and urban environmental construction. Yoshiaki has more than ten years of experience in the design industry, mainly covering research in visual and communication design (VI, BI), product design (healthcare, household appliances), and urban environmental design (signage, street facilities). He actively engages in design education institutions and industry events in China, dedicating himself to promoting the enlightenment of Japanese design, and he once give speech at the Japan Design Lecture organized by the Consulate-General of Japan in Shanghai. Yoshiaki is the guest evaluation jurors at the Wenzhou International Design Biennial. He has also delivered lectures on Japanese design at the International Design School at Zhejiang University and various design seminars at Donghua University, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, and Tongji University.
Lan Yu is Director and and a professor of the Industrial Design Department at the ArtCenter College of Design (ACCD) in Los Angeles, USA. She also serves as a consultant for the Sky Limit Entertainment and smartmi. Between 2014 and 2019, she collaborated with the ArtCenter College of Design to create and host the successful "Innovation Changes" design forums in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Qingdao. She served as the Design Director and Brand Manager at Tsinghua Tongfang for nearly a decade, helping to establish successful technology-based startups. As a design consultant, she has worked with companies including Soreal Metaverse, Hero Entertainment, Bank of China, China Daily, Omnijoi Films, Xiaomi, and Google. Lan Yu holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Product Design from Beijing Institute of Technology.

Vice President of the China Industrial Design Association and former Deputy Chair of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Industrial Design under the Ministry of Education (2018-2022). Director of the Shaanxi Industrial Design Development Center, recognized as an Outstanding Teacher in Shaanxi Province, and recipient of the Silver Award for the Dragon Design Foundation Contribution Award and the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award. In recent years, he has led and completed research projects involving aerospace (responsible for the industrial design tasks of major national manned space missions such as Tiangong-1 and Shenzhou 8 and 9), marine (handling the cabin layout and human-machine design tasks for manned submersibles like Jiaolong, Deep Sea Warrior, and Endeavor), aviation (conducting human-machine ergonomic analysis for a specific model of fighter jet cockpit and the industrial design of a large transport aircraft's tooling platform), as well as industrial design for vehicles and machinery equipment.

He has established the Beijing DRC Industrial Design Creative Industry Base, Red Star Design Award, Beijing International Design Week, and the Beijing-Nairobi Creative R&D Center. Serving as an advisor to the Beijing Municipal Government, he was the principal author of the Shendu Report, successfully advocating for Beijing’s designation as a "City of Design" within UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network.
Yang Jian has been working at the China Fashion Association since 1996, holding various positions such as Director of the Membership Department, Deputy Secretary General, Assistant to the President, Vice President, and Executive President. For over 20 years, he has organized or participated in the organization of annual events such as China International Fashion Week, China International College Students Fashion Week, China International Young Designers Fashion Competition, China Fashion Conference, and China Design Summit.
Jamy Yang studied at Zhejiang University and the China Academy of Art. He was awarded a full scholarship from the German WK Foundation to pursue a master's degree in industrial design at the Muthus College in Germany. Afterward, he worked at Siemens Design Headquarters in Munich. He later founded YANG DESIGN, the Yang Mingjie Design Museum, and YANG HOUSE. He has been invited to participate in exhibitions, lectures, and academic exchanges by UNESCO, Japan’ s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the France’ s Saint-Etienne Biennale, and the Goethe Institute. His works are part of the collections of several museums, including the Centre Georges Pompidou in France.
