The 2026 Better Design Award (BDA) is now accepting submissions from around the world! With a total prize pool of RMB 4.1 million and 326 awards across multiple categories, the competition is open for entries until December 12, 2026.
To bring together outstanding design talent from across the globe and expand the reach of its talent and project discovery network, BDA is now officially inviting applications for BDA Recommenders worldwide.

BDA COMPETITION PLATFORM
The Better Design Award (BDA) is an international, comprehensive design competition established under the guidance of China Media Group, the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the People's Government of Guangzhou Municipality, and the People's Government of Shenzhen Municipality. Open to participants worldwide, BDA has reached 69 countries and regions, received more than 22,000 submissions to date, and achieved a cumulative online reach of over 1.2 billion.
RECOMMENDER DUTIES
- Recommend one product that meets the competition's entry requirements. Successfully recommended entries will advance directly to the second-round evaluation.
- Share professional insights and contribute to the co-creation of content for the BDA Recommender feature series.
