On October 19-20, 2024, the Organizing Committee of Better Design Award (BDA) held the second evaluation meetings. A group of 19 industry experts from around the world formed juror panels for the evaluation of 614 design works and 95 design-driven brands. The review process was conducted under the supervision of notaries, and the BDA finalist list and nominated award list were ultimately selected.
Work Selection Second Evaluation
The jury evaluated the shortlisted works based on four main criteria: innovation value, market value, sustainable impact, and social impact. A total of 40 works were selected as finalists. Among them, there were 10 works in the "The Pillars of a Great Power" category, 20 in the "Good Life" category, and 10 in the "Future Design" category. After a rigorous review by the jurors, 160 works were also selected for nomination awards, including 40 in the "The Pillars of a Great Power" category, 80 in the "Good Life" category, and 40 in the "Future Design" category.
Brand Selection Second Evaluation
The brand jurors conducted a thorough and impartial evaluation of all nominated brands, based on five criteria: founding team, brand value, innovative organization, product innovation, and market impact. Ultimately, 24 brands were selected as finalists.
In accordance with the judging standards of Better Design Award, final award-winning works will receive certificates, trophies, and cash prizes, while nominated works will receive digital nomination certificates. The finalist list and nomination award list are hereby announced for public viewing and open to social supervision. If there are any objections to the award list, please submit them in written form to the BDA Organizing Committee within the announcement period, along with complete and sufficient supporting materials.

Final Evaluation Preview
The competition is about to enter the final evaluation phase. According to the rules, the BDA Organizing Committee will invite renowned design experts from both domestic and international fields to form a final review jury.
