With public welfare and branding as approaches, he has long been committed to promoting innovation and green development. He has initiated and founded public welfare organizations including the Guanghua Design Foundation (DDF), International Design Federation (IDF), World Green Design Organization (WGDO), Beijing Green Design Promotion Association, and Beijing Service Design Promotion Association.He has created a number of branded programs, such as the Guanghua Longteng Award for Innovation Design (a national award), International Green Design Contribution Award / International Green Design Grand Award, China Design Festival, China Design Hall of Fame, World Green Design Forum, China Service Design Conference, Green Leaf Home, Green Leaf Mark, and Global Think Tank for Green Development. He has also promoted the construction of social enterprise platforms including Design Valley and Green Research Institute.He is the author and editor of books including China Youth Design Innovation Festival, Start-Up in China, Design Wins the World, and China Green Design Report.
