Senior Visiting Scholar at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. He is currently Director of the Future Design Laboratory at Zhejiang University, member of the Design Discipline Appraisal Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Innovation Design Industry Strategic Alliance, Standing Director and Executive Deputy Director of the Industrial Design Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and Vice Chairman of the Guanghua Design Development Foundation in Beijing.He also serves as Director of the Key Laboratory of Digital Creative Intelligent Systems and Equipment of Zhejiang Province, and Director of the Zhejiang Engineering Research Center of Digital Creative Intelligent Technology and Equipment. His research focuses on innovative design, digital intelligence platforms, human-machine integration, and digital creativity. He has received more than five provincial and ministerial-level and national awards, and has undertaken numerous projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National 863 Program, and National Key R&D Program.He has served as a judge for the Good Design Award and the China Design Intelligence Award.
