Distinguished Professor at the School of Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, doctoral supervisor, Party Secretary of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University–University of Southern California Institute of Cultural and Creative Industry, joint-appointed professor at the Medical Robotics Research Institute, and nationally appointed distinguished professor under a national talent program. He serves as a member of the Industrial Design Teaching Steering Sub-Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the National Graduate Education Steering Committee for Professional Degrees in Design, and Director of the Shanghai Intelligent Healthcare Innovation Design Center. He has led national key R&D projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, and National Social Science Foundation projects, and has received the Second Prize of the Higher Education Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award from the Ministry of Education, as well as the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award.
