Lorraine Justice

Dean Emeritus of the College of Art and Design of Rochester Institute of Technology

Lorraine Justice is a Professor of Industrial Design and former Dean of the College of Art and Design of Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and was named one of the “40 Designers to Watch” by ID magazine. She was also listed among the Top 50 Product Designers of 2016. She serves on the editorial boards of six design journals worldwide and has been a judge for design competitions across the globe. From 2004 to 2011, she served as Dean of the School of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, during which time the school rose to rank among the world’s top 30 design schools and the top four in Asia. She also led the Industrial Design program at Georgia Institute of Technology for six years and spent a decade as a Professor of Visual Communication at The Ohio State University.
