Professor and PhD advisor at Northwestern Polytechnical University. Vice President of the China Industrial Design Association and former Deputy Chair of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Industrial Design under the Ministry of Education (2018-2022). Director of the Shaanxi Industrial Design Development Center, recognized as an Outstanding Teacher in Shaanxi Province, and recipient of the Silver Award for the Dragon Design Foundation Contribution Award and the Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award. He has undertaken several key national science and technology projects during the Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Five-Year Plans, as well as over ten "863" projects. His research primarily focuses on industrial design in the equipment manufacturing industry. In recent years, he has led and completed research projects involving aerospace (responsible for the industrial design tasks of major national manned space missions such as Tiangong-1 and Shenzhou 8 and 9), marine (handling the cabin layout and human-machine design tasks for manned submersibles like Jiaolong, Deep Sea Warrior, and Endeavor), aviation (conducting human-machine ergonomic analysis for a specific model of fighter jet cockpit and the industrial design of a large transport aircraft's tooling platform), as well as industrial design for vehicles and machinery equipment.
