Masayuki Kurokawa (Japan)

World-renowned Architect and Industrial Designer

A renowned architect and thinker, Director of Kurokawa Masayuki Architects and Associates, and a member of the Japan Institute of Architects, Japan Design Committee, Japan Interior Designers Forum, as well as President of the Japan Industrial Designers Association. He also serves as a professor at the Graduate School of Art, Nihon University. Born into a family of architects, he graduated from Waseda University with a degree in architecture and was awarded the unique title of "Doctor of Arts", the only one of its kind in Japanese history. Some of his works are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Denver Art Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
