Zheng Gangqiang has led and participated in 20 vertical research projects and has completed over 300 design and implementation projects. He has published 11 books and 87 papers, received 59 awards, and holds 21 national patents. He established a think tank of academicians that brings together over 80 academicians and connects hundreds of academicians and Nobel laureates to empower regional innovation. By leveraging design to promote the integration of industry and education and the innovation and upgrading of industrial chains, he has created a knowledge system for the industrialization of China's independent strategic scientific design, which is applied in various sectors, including artificial intelligence, new energy, marine engineering, mineral construction, and life health.
