Jamy Yang studied at Zhejiang University and the China Academy of Art. He was awarded a full scholarship from the German WK Foundation to pursue a master's degree in industrial design at the Muthus College in Germany. Afterward, he worked at Siemens Design Headquarters in Munich. He later founded YANG DESIGN, the Yang Mingjie Design Museum, and YANG HOUSE. He has been invited to participate in exhibitions, lectures, and academic exchanges by UNESCO, Japan’ s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the France’ s Saint-Etienne Biennale, and the Goethe Institute. His works are part of the collections of several museums, including the Centre Georges Pompidou in France.
