Jarmo Suominen (Finland)

Deputy Dean of College of Design and Innovation at Tongji University

Jarmo Suominen focuses on the relationship between humans and the environment to achieve more sustainable behaviors and environments. He has won numerous awards in architecture and design competitions. As a co-founder of the NGIN-workplace coworking platform connecting the Harvard-MIT campus in Boston with Mexico City, and a co-founder of the Spacent platform, he focuses on online connections for coworking operators, enabling users to leverage a network of coworking spaces for more sustainable development. He is continuing to research and develop ways to integrate the latest advancements in artificial intelligence with academic and industry interests and outcomes.
