In 2008, he graduated from the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo with a specialization in Social Foundations. In the same year, he joined GK Design Group, focusing on research topics related to spatial environmental signage systems and urban environmental construction. Yoshiaki has more than ten years of experience in the design industry, mainly covering research in visual and communication design (VI, BI), product design (healthcare, household appliances), and urban environmental design (signage, street facilities). He actively engages in design education institutions and industry events in China, dedicating himself to promoting the enlightenment of Japanese design, and he once give speech at the Japan Design Lecture organized by the Consulate-General of Japan in Shanghai. Yoshiaki is the guest evaluation jurors at the Wenzhou International Design Biennial. He has also delivered lectures on Japanese design at the International Design School at Zhejiang University and various design seminars at Donghua University, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, and Tongji University.
