Ren He currently serves as a Distinguished Technical Expert at the Technology Committee of COMAC and concurrently as Director of the Digital Customer Support Service Platform for Large Aircraft in Shanghai. He is a Specially Invited Vice President of the China Industrial Design Association and Director of the Expert Committee of the Shanghai General Aviation Association. He holds a full-time Doctorate in Engineering, and holds the titles of Professor and Researcher. He is also a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering. Previously, he served as Deputy Director of the Airworthiness Reliability Research Office at China's First Aircraft Design and Research Institute (603 Institute) from 1987 to 1992, Professor at RMIT University, Australia (1997–2010), Researcher at Newcastle University (2001), Senior Project Manager for the Airbus A380 program (2001–2003), and Assistant Chief Designer of the COMAC C919, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Customer Service Center, Chief Information Officer, Director of the Industrial Design Department at Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Company, and Technical Director of COMAC Marketing Center (2011–2024).
