2024 Better Design Award Instructions for Entry Delivery

Dear Participant,

Congratulations! Your entry has entered into the second evaluation of 2024 Better Design Award. This achievement means your work has stood out among numerous entries and qualifies you for competing for the Grand Award. 

According to the judging rules, participants who advance to the second evaluation must send physical items (Product Group: provide the actual product or model; Concept Group: provide a prototype or model) for the evaluation. The delivery information must be filled in the BDA system, otherwise the organizing committee will not be responsible for the items sent.

Please read and follow the guidelines below carefully.

1. Preparation Before Shipping

Print two copies of the exclusive shipping QR code generated by the website backend system. Attach one to the shipping box and include the other inside the box.

List and photograph the "Shipping List of Entry and Accessories" and include it with the signed and stamped "2024 Better Design Award Entry Delivery Risk Notification" inside the shipping box.

2. Over-Dimensional Entry Registration

For entries exceeding 2m x 1.2m or weighing over 100kg, email the organizing committee (service@bdaward.com) before 17:00pm, October 10, 2024 to report the entry (include Entry ID, Entry Name, packaging dimensions, actual dimensions, weight, and contact information) and receive shipping instructions from the organizing committee.

4. Shipping Time

Please ship your works during working days (Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00, excluding public holidays) between September 20 and October 13, 2024.

For self-delivery, items must arrive between October 16-17, 2024, and you must contact the organizing committee 24 hours in advance to schedule.

Late submissions will be considered as a withdrawal from the second evaluation and will not proceed to the second evaluation.

5. Shipping Information Entry

After shipping, enter your shipping information on this page for tracking. If self-delivering, specify the delivery method. Information must be entered by October 10th.

If your entry requires return shipping, provide an address by October 10. Non-award-winning entries will be returned after the second evaluation, while prize-winning entries should be donated to the organizing committee for collection and exhibition. If entries that have received a nomination or higher award that need to be returned, the items will be arranged for return shipment collectively after the tour exhibition, based on the participants' circumstances.

Notes:

1. For oversized, immovable, difficult-to-transport, or high-value entries, you may send scaled-down models or prototypes.

2. Digital creations or information service works without physical items can be presented online via a complete video; conceptual entries without models can send display stands (details in the downloadable files).

3. For entries exceeding the specified size (Length and width of more than 2 meters *1.2 meters, or the weight of the product more than 100Kg), contact the organizing committee before October 10 for shipping arrangements.
